WELCOME to CHRISTIE KOESTER.COM
Christie Koester has been writing since she received a light-blue journal with a gold lock in the fourth grade. Her first published piece was a poem she wrote for her high school’s creative writing book, which encouraged Christie to earn her Bachelor of Arts in communications from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. A writing internship during college introduced her to the magazine world where Christie’s first cover story was published in a heavy equipment industry magazine.
Christie, being a hopeful romantic, wanted to write about love and romance, not machines. After college graduation, she moved to Minnesota in hopes of finding true love. During her free time, Christie started writing about finding Mr. Right and her articles were published monthly in a local paper. Years later, she found love. Christie became engaged shortly after, and in the months leading up to her wedding, submitted her engagement story in a bridal contest sponsored by the Mall of America and won! Christie is a YourVoices blogger for the Star Tribune, a published community writer for KSTP Channel 5 in Minneapolis and a freelance writer for several AOL Patches: Eagan, Apple Valley and Rosemount. She is also a travel blogger for Examiner.com. She's a full-time Marketing Communications Manager. Now, Christie has finished her first women's fiction book (90,000 words) and promises plenty of adventure, humor - and best of all - love!

FROM THE AUTHOR
everyone deserves to fall in love
Most of us have survived a relationship we thought was perfect and ended with a broken heart. We don't quite understand what went wrong since everything felt real. Maybe we became too comfortable or we were in denial. Or maybe the other person cheated. No matter what the reason, breakups just suck.
After my personal heartbreak, I wrote a lot. I had a lot of time to think, reflect and decided that somewhere in this big world my prince charming was out there.
I was looking too hard. I was picky. It was so difficult to find someone in this fast-paced world...meeting at bars, dating via the internet, horrible blind dates.
But one day I found him. And I'm here to tell you keep believing your mate is out there too. Hold out for the one you know you deserve. You'll be glad you did when it happens. And it'll be magical.

INTRODUCING ...
WANTED: Groom for my $100K Wedding
35-year-old Ella Dirks - wannabe wedding planner and real life marketing manager (who feels more like a pushover and a fraund with a fancy title) - has been heartbroken in every possible way. But she insists she's moved on from both the wedding the groom never showed up for and the best guy friend who just got married and left her with no back-up plan.
To prove she too can have happily-ever-after, Ella signs up to win a $75K trend wedding and wins! Tiny problem: she hasn't had a date in eight years and now has eight weeks to find Mr. Right.
Oh, and two jealous wedding planners are on a mission to sabotage her secret of being hopelessly single. They plot to turn Ella in. It'd be okay... if Ella's charming Facebook page didn't become a trending topic on AOL and capture the attention of the entire nation and the man who broke her heart eight years earlier. What to do?
